Quoted in a New Scientist Article

I was interviewed by New Scientist concerning the discovery of a peculiar metal-poor star that might have been directly enriched by some of the first stars in the Universe. The quote ended up being the skeptic point of view, ending the article. The author actually captured my feelings about this work well.  The differences between the supernova yields in models and the observed abundance pattern of this star (see the last Figure of the paper) don’t really convince me that this star was enriched by a single supernova from a Population III star.
