I am a computational cosmologist interested in the connection between the intergalactic medium and galaxies.  I make use of large scale cosmological simulations to compare model predictions to observations.  I’m particularly interested in absorption systems and what they can tell us about the UV background, the cosmic web, the circum-galactic medium, and the processes of enrichment and feedback from supernovae and AGN.  I have developed several radiative transfer routines and am involved in code development for the yt-project and Enzo.
